Boko Haram kidnaps policemen in Borno
A yet to be ascertained number of mobile policemen at the police mobile training school in Limankara Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, have been kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists.
The PUNCH reported that the abduction took place around 8:22pm on Thursday the 13 of January.
The insurgents were said to have stormed the training school with gun trucks, shooting indiscriminately into the air before kidnapping the mobile Police instructors.
According to the publication, the training school is located twenty-five kilometres from Gwoza town. It is a border town between Borno and Madagali LGA of Adamawa State.
WuzupNigeria gathered that the hometown of Senator Ali Ndume, the Chairman Senate Committee on Army.
The attack is coming about a week after soldiers repelled the terrorists during a failed attempt to infiltrate the Nigerian Army base in Gwoza.
Senator Ndume and the Senate committee on Army had paid a working visit to the theatre command operation, Hadin Kai, in the area two days ago.
