JUST IN: Travellers flee as bandits block Abuja-Kaduna road
A large number of bandits have reportedly blocked the Abuja-Kaduna road, forcing travellers plying the route to turn back for safety.
This is coming days after the terrorists attacked a Kaduba bound train, killing eight, injuring and kidnapping many others.
Confirming the latest development, a former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, said that the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon.
“Just got a distress call that Bandits in large numbers have again blocked the Kaduna-Abuja road this afternoon. Travellers are speedily turning backwards,” he tweeted.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement confirming or debunking the report from either the state government or the appropriate security agencies.
