The All Progressives Congress, has congratulated the winner of the Anambra governorship election, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

The Anambra State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Okelue Madukaife, sent the congratulatory message to Soludo when he appeared on Arise TV programme in Awka the state capital.

While congratulating the governor elect, Madukaife assured him of the APC’s support but will hold him responsible for the promises he made to the people of the state.

He hailed the security agencies for their resilience and efforts in the smooth conduct of the elelection.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had in the early hours of Wednesday announced the victory of the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
