Afghan Police detain 100 suspected criminal elements in Kabul
At least 100 people over their involvement in criminal activities over the past one week in Afghan capital Kabul, the spokesman for the Kabul Police, Mubin Khan, said on Tuesday.
The suspects were allegedly involved in criminal activities ranging from armed robbery to banditry.
Khan said that the Taliban administration is committed to ensuring law and order in the country.
In the meantime, people urge the new administration to create more job opportunities.
They cited poverty as the main cause of rising crimes.
