The negative side to the use of fireworks for celebrations reared its ugly head on New Year Day when it resulted in the death of a promising young man.
According to a post shared on Facebook, the tragic incident occurred inside a Mosque where Wasiu Apesin, a student of the Olabisi Onabanjo University went to pray ahead of the new year.
