Popular TikToker and streamer, Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, has caused another stir online with a shocking claim about a N3 billion offer from Netflix.
In a viral video from his recent TikTok live session with singer Peter Okoye of PSquare, Peller said the streaming giant contacted him to feature his girlfriend, Elizabeth Amaduo, popularly known as Jarvis, in a kissing scene.
“They said they want to use my baby to do a kissing scene. They said three billion. Three billion! I mean… three million—no, three billion naira!” Peller said during the live session.
The content creator said he turned down the offer because he doesn’t want Jarvis to be part of the entertainment world.
“I don’t joke about her. I love my baby. I’m paying her good money. I don’t like that life,” he added, stressing that he pulled her out of the entertainment space for her own protection.
His comments, however, did not go down well with many Nigerians, especially on social media, where many users questioned the truth behind the claim.
The comments section on various platforms quickly filled up with mixed reactions, jokes, and disbelief.
“Make all of una calm down now, na people for Facebook he dey talk to, not you people on Instagram. Facebook people are a different breed,” bood_akanniii commented.
“This guy really thinks we all watch Cocomelon and take Cerelac,” kelvin_krtz wrote, jokingly suggesting the story was childish.
“Why are they seeking his consent? Is he her father or husband?” chixonnexus asked.
“Elizabeth Amaduo was offered $1.8m (N3b) for a kissing scene. He turned it down because… you’ll believe anything online. Drink water instead of Zobo,” worldofyabachi teased.
Some even claimed to have received bigger fake offers themselves:
