A four-year-old child has accidentally shot a seven-month-old baby at a home in Texas, USA.
The police said an adult was at home when the incident happened and a woman called the Police at 2.31pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
A nearby resident in the city of Temple said he saw a police officer carrying a “lifeless-looking” baby out to an ambulance.
Police rushed to the house, which was later cordoned off.
“The police officer carried [the infant] out,” witness Bradley Martin said.
“The baby just looked lifeless in his hands. You know what I mean. There was blood all over [the infant].
They put the baby in the back of an ambulance and took off down the road.”
The seven-month-old was taken to McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple.
Temple Police Department’s criminal investigations division is working on the case.
Police tweeted,
