Adebowale, son of late comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, says until he died, his father didn’t recovered from his ordeal with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
Recall that Baba Suwe was arrested in 2011 with claims that he was in possession of substances suspected to be cocaine.
The actor was picked up at the International wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos, by the NDLEA officials, while boarding an Air France flight to Paris, France.
The scanning machine at the airport detected suspected substance hidden in Baba Suwe’s stomach, but the suspect was alleged to have denied that such drug was on his person.
WuzupNigeria, however, reported the death of the 63-year-old actor on Monday after years of battling diabetes and other undisclosed ailments.
Reacting to his loss on Tuesday, Adebowale said the illness started after the NDLEA ordeal.
