NCDC boss Ihekweazu gets WHO appointment
The Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Chikwe Ihekweazu has bagged an appointment at the World Health Organisation.
It is reported that he will be assuming duty as the Assistant Director General of Health Emergency Intelligence at the WHO on November 1, 2021.
This was disclosed in a letter signed by the health organisation’s Director General, Tedros Ghebreyesus.
The letter, sighted by the PUNCH was addressed to all staff members of the organisation.
