Germany’s new coach, Julian Nagelsmann, started his outing with the German team with a winning start, taking a comfortable 3-1 win over the United States in a friendly match.

The USA took the lead in the 27th minute through Christian Pulisic, who cut in from the left flank and fired into the far corner. However, Germany equalized in the 39th minute through Ilkay Gundogan, after good work from Leroy Sane.

Germany went ahead in the 58th minute through Niclas Fuellkrug, who slotted home after a perfectly weighted pass from Robin Gosens.

Fuellkrug then set up Jamal Musiala for a simple tap-in to make it 3-1 to Germany in the 84th minute.
