The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has ordered a recall of Indomie Vegetable Flavour noodles after identifying undeclared allergens in the product.

The agency said laboratory findings revealed the presence of milk and eggs, which were not listed on the product packaging.

In a notice released as Public Alert No. 041/2025, NAFDAC explained that the omission of these allergens from the label could endanger consumers who have allergies or intolerance to milk and eggs, warning that consumption may trigger adverse health reactions.

The agency urged the general public, particularly individuals with known allergies, to refrain from eating the affected noodles.

It also directed distributors, retailers, and consumers to stop the sale and use of the product with immediate effect.

NAFDAC added that additional regulatory measures are underway to protect public health and enforce compliance with food labeling standards.

Consumers who have the product were advised to notify the nearest NAFDAC office or reach the agency through its official communication channels.
