Thugs attached to a member of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs Ngohemba Lydia Utsaha Agaigbe, have mercilessly beaten a labourer identified as Nam, for demanding his money from the lawmaker.
This was made public in a post shared on social media by an activist, Barti Nor.
Nor said the young man was contracted by Mrs Agagbie to do a job for her and was supposed to pay him a balance of one hundred and thirty thousand naira (#130,000) after completing the job.
He said the lawmaker refused to pay up, adding that after a relentless effort from Mr Nam, she gave him thirty thousand out of the total amount and promised to pay the balance within a stipulated time.
Nor said,
“This young man approached her again and her children who happens to be her PA’s locked him up at the police station for disturbing their mother, he was later released on bail to his Grandmother Mrs Atiev who happens to be A top APC mother at Mbaaka Ushongo LGA of Benue state.
The young man Mr Nam approached the Hon member Mrs Agagbie again and was still locked up by the children again and released. He has been looking for ways to get his balance to no avail only for him to meet up with her today, he insisted on his money, and refused to go until Some Pocho linking guys who were with her beat up Mr Nam to the point of death.
“One of his eye bleeds blood and body parts dislocated. I know Some top APC members close to her are reading this, Pls advice Her to pay up this poor boys balance as well as pay for his hospital bills.”
