Nollywood actor and content creator, Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has revealed that his wife abandoned him and their child in January 2025, after refusing to have intimate relations with him for eight months.
Ijoba Lande made this known in an emotional video shared on his social media page, where he also accused his colleague, Baba Tee, of contributing to his marital crisis.
He said, “My wife left my house in January 2025. When everyone was rejoicing about the new year, I was in deep sadness. I will not tell the world what she did to me because of our child, but I will still talk one day about what I went through. Before she eventually left, she didn’t allow me to have sex with her for a good 8 months. She told me her hormones were not working. Right now, I am both the father and mother to our child. The day she left, I only had N7000 in my account.”
The actor further called out Baba Tee for blocking him on social media over his broken marriage. He expressed his disappointment, saying he once respected Baba Tee but was now angry at him.
“As you blocked me on Instagram, make sure you block me in real life. As I am angry that I used to hold you in high esteem and bow to you, your life will be spoiled. If I see you doing any motivational speaker work, you will see what I will do to you. I am the only one who knows what I am going through and how it’s making me sad,” Ijoba Lande said.

Ijoba Lande’s struggles have drawn sympathy from fans, especially given his past battles with depression.
In 2023, he went missing, prompting his colleagues and wife to raise an alarm, but he later revealed he left home voluntarily due to mental health struggles.
Meanwhile, Baba Tee, who has been married three times, has also faced his share of public scrutiny over his relationships.
His first marriage to London socialite Yetunde Bustline Oduwole ended in 2013 amid allegations of infidelity.
His second marriage to Dupe Odulate also ended in 2019. He welcomed his first child with his third wife in 2020, despite previously being mocked by ex-wives for his failed marriages and other personal issues.
