A widow, Cara Finnegan, has dragged the government to court over her lack of sex since her husband died in a botched medical treatment.

The mother of four, who described her husband as a stallion in bed, is claiming  £650,000 ($1.2million) for nervous shock and loss of “consortium”, or sex, with the father of her children.

According to the UK Mirror, the husband – Jamie Finnegan – was left brain damaged and passed away in 2018 after a procedure at Brisbane Hospital in Australia went wrong in 2013.

Jamie’s mum, Daphne, thinks Cara is entitled to compensation, despite joking about the way the claim is worded.

“If we’re talking about conjugal rights he’d be worth about $3million, he’s an Italian stallion, mate,” Daphne told A Current Affair .

“She’s got to raise those four children by herself, she didn’t get any money to raise those children.

“Do you think Jamie wants his children living in poverty?”
