Barely two weeks after music rapper, Falz, released a music video titled “Child of the word” some Twitter users are condemning as well as praising the music video.
A Twitter user, simply identified as Demilade Wadun, started the online debate when she shared a thread on her Twitter page analysing the song.
The Twitter user said that the “Child of the world” music was problematic before the video came out.
However, some other music critics countered her assertions and accused her of being a feminist.

I was going to write a whole piece but my fingers started to cramp and I decided I’d put my twitter account to some good use.
My thoughts on Falz’s Child Of The World: A Thread.— Demilade Wadun (@DWadun) July 27, 2018
Don’t drift, stay on the topic. But if I must respond, i’ll do so with some questions:
How many jobs expose you to Diabetes?
Are diabetes patients stigmatized in the society?
The hard fact remains: one is a social evil (a criminal offence in some places), the other isn’t!— Sammy (@freezeBeatz) July 28, 2018
Morality in our society has its dictates. Unfortunately, infidelity and prostitution (sex) are 2 issues societal morals oppose/shame.
One way to fight this is by sensitizing the public and this is what the girl in the song does. So whats wrong with the song again?— Sammy (@freezeBeatz) July 28, 2018
Mehn, I remember when I first saw the song, the name alone just made me conclude it was about a girl, either good girl gone bad or bad girl gone good. Falz sha like to Dey talk about these kinda girls.

Trust me bro, if you were an artiste and you do a song that treats all the societal ills you’ve stated in your thread. You’re still gonna get the stick by someone for “missing out’ some other important things in your message.

I think the concept “Child of the world” is not to victimise her but to depict the view of her in the latter part of her days. In other words, i have seen cases of people who actually get into immoral activites which was born out of sexual molestation

Fact is:
1. the motive of the song is to encourage HIV victims that there is a life after
2. A survey of HIV victims turned HIV awareness speakers (both male & female) it would easily show you that a huge percentage of them got infected via unprotected sex— Sammy (@freezeBeatz) July 28, 2018
