Afropop sensation, Peter ‘Mr. P’ Okoye, has made a striking return to the music scene with his latest single, Odo, featuring acclaimed Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy.

The much-anticipated track is officially set for release today, May 16.

Odo offers a compelling fusion of Highlife and R&B, paying subtle tribute to genre icon Marvin Gaye while capturing the distinctive musical chemistry between Mr. P and Stonebwoy.

The result is a heartfelt ode to love, rich in rhythm and emotion.

Produced by Mr. P alongside his longtime collaborator, Goldswarm, the song delves into the themes of deep affection, emotional security, and the enduring nature of genuine connection.

Co-written by the duo, Odo pairs velvety vocals with poignant lyrics aimed at resonating with both loyal fans and new listeners.

“This song is really personal to me,” says Mr. P. “It came from a place of deep reflection and emotion, and I hope it connects with people who’ve experienced real love.”

The release is accompanied by a music video, launching simultaneously across digital and traditional media platforms. Odo follows Mr. P’s earlier singles, including Winning and Attention, marking another evolution in his solo career.
