Days after Big Brother Naija ended amid fanfare with the grand finale attracting 26 million votes, some Nigerians have criticised the show.
Among the critics is Mount Zion Faith Ministries, which expressed the hope that the show will not encourage Nigerians to to glorify immorality and exalt the housemates and winner.
In a Facebook post it lamented the activities of the housemates on live television.

Mistura Adejoke Sulaimon The fact is such shows are supposed to push the wealthy Christians to do such, help the ones that are needy, because most reasons youth go for such competition or shows is because of money, there are rich people who can find competitions for bible scholars and also youths that are willing to propagate Gospel in their own unique way but no they won’t fund it, some youths even went as far as organizing prayer meeting for Efe, that’s how far the country and the generation is degenerating and killing the fear of God.

Hope Michelle Please people do not turn the word of God upside-down, everybody has a special talent within him/her but how u use it matters alot, so be careful how u use your talent for God or for Satan.. Richest and wealth belong to God, ask from him he will definitely give u if he doesn’t wait that means your time has not yet come, and wen it comes it will not pass you by… Not by exposing or having sex in the camera, by doing so you are pleasing yourself and the world not God.. You can’t please God while you are still living in the flesh you can only please him in the spirit….
