An Abuja-based motivational speaker, Solomon Buchi, has accused some policemen in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja of kidnapping, assaulting and extorting money from him and his younger brother.
On Tuesday, in a post on Twitter, he claimed himself and his younger brother were kidnapped and treated ‘like criminals’ by police officers, who extorted N500,000 from them.
Buchi said the policemen accused him and his younger brother of being members of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
The tweet reads, “I and my kid brother were kidnapped by the police in Abuja around Wuse 2 a couple of hours ago, after eating.
“I begged them that it was my upkeep money for my stay, but they went physical on me, slapped me and asked me to use the N117,000 for myself.
