Oba Yakubu Buari, the Olomu of Omupo and the people of Omupo Land have congratulated the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi on his 10th year on the throne.
This is contained in a letter signed by Rev. Felix Ajide, Chairman, Publicity Committee, Omupo Descendants Union (ODU), on behalf of the National President, Dr Monisoye Afolabi, and made available to News Agency of Nigeria (on Monday in Ilorin.
“In celebrating the landmark anniversary with the people of Offa, we bear testimony that Offa has witnessed greater transformation as a significant economic hub in Kwara State.
“We believe that the development of Offa in the last years was largely due to the improved cooperation, collaboration and collective resolve of its citizens to advance the course of the city.
“It is also a testimony to the doggedness of the leadership of Offa Descendants Union,” the statement said.
The letter conveyed the prayers of the Olomu of Omupo Land for God to grant Olofa long life with good health and tranquility.
It also prayed the Olofa continues to receive the support of the people of Offa for the good of the land.
