MORE EVIDENCE? Third video of Gov Ganduje allegedly receiving bribe goes viral

A third video clip showing the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, allegedly receiving a bribe from an unknown contractor has been released on the internet.

Recall that two videos had earlier been released by Jaafar Jaafar, Editor-in-Chief of Daily Nigerian.

The third which was video which was released by Farooq Kperogi, Ph.D @farooqkperogi on his Twitter page showed the governor and the unidentified contractor speaking in Hausa.

The new video has a timestamp of 2017/01/18 and has Ganduje speaking audibly while receiving a kickback.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the Editor-in-Chief of Daily Nigerian said that this new video did not come from him.

“I swore an oath with the Holy Quran before tendering the several videos at the Kano State Assembly and I could not have been responsible for the current video trending on social media.

“Therefore Daily Nigerian did not release any other video after the appearance before lawmakers,” Jaafar said.

Twitterati has begun to debate the authenticity of the new video while some called for the resignation of the governor.

The video which has sparked outrage on social media has got many calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to investigate the video clips.

Some also called on President Buhari and the ruling party to reject Ganduje who is seeking re-election in the forthcoming 2019 elections.
