Human rights activist and Nigerian author, Reno Omokri, has stated that money is the bedrock of marital stability.
Omokri made the statement in a tweet on Tuesday while advising single men to drop the notion that all women who seek to know their financial stability is a gold digger.
According to him, a woman who is conscious about how much money a man makes and his future prospects is wise.
“Dear single men, A girl who is conscious about how much money you make and your future prospects is not automatically a gold digger.
“In fact, she is wise to have such concerns. Only fools leap without looking. Financial security is the bedrock of marital stability”
Reacting to his post, @chidichekwa said; “It’s good to want to marry a rich person, but it’s better to marry a generous and kind person, because they don’t go hand in hand. Someone can be wealthy and stingy. It’s not the richer, the kinder. It really isn’t.
