The Lagos State Police Command has arrested controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, in connection with the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
The police confirmed the arrest on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
“Update From Lagos State Police Command:
Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation. #justice4Mohbad #justiceforMohbad,” the tweet read
Recall that Wuzup Nigeria reported that following the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s death, the police had invited Sam Larry and Naira Marley for questioning.
The police also exhumed Mohbad’s body for an autopsy last week, which has now been conducted.
This development comes after a combined team of the Nigeria Police Force and health officials exhumed Mohbad’s body.
The investigation into Mohbad’s death is ongoing.
