Mohbad: I’ve resorted to alcohol, struggling to find happiness, says Bella Shmurda

Popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda, has commitment to care for the child left behind by his late colleague and friend, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known better as Mohbad.

In a posted on his Instagram story on Thursday, Bella Shmurda said he was struggling to bear the loss of Mohbad, revealing that he has turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism since the tragic incident.

The singer expressed deep regret that his son, Abiola Imole, named in honor of Mohbad, would grow up without knowing his namesake.

Nevertheless, he pledged to preserve Mohbad’s legacy and ensure the well-being of his son, Liam.

You told me to stop mourning, and I’ve been trying. I just hope you’re at peace wherever you are because I’ve been struggling to find happiness for days, resorting to alcohol as I grapple with how to move forward,” he wrote.

Bella Shmurda continued, “It’s a pity that Abiola Imole won’t have the chance to know you, but rest assured, I will share your story and look after our child. I’m passing all the love to our sons. In a lighthearted manner, I’m ‘Bell and Sons Inc.
