A young woman simply identified as Rachel has come forward with harrowing details of her alleged abduction and torment at the hands of Andrew Ochekwo at the Panyu Hotel in Aba, Abia State.
During an Instagram live conversation with media personality Daddy Freeze, Rachel revealed how Andrew abducted her for six days.
“He told me he wanted to remove my kidney and liver,” Rachel recounted. “He brought out two knives and other sharp objects in a wrapped nylon. He said people would think he used me for ritual, but he said he’s not into that stuff.”
Recall that Andrew Ochekwo is the suspect accused of kidnapping two women, Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh. Celine and Afiba had met Andrew on Facebook and travelled from Port Harcourt to see him on April 27, 2024. After their visit, they were allegedly held hostage and later declared missing.
Racheal revealed that her social media post calling out Andrew’s atrocities sent a red flag to another target identified as Amaka.
She said “ She(Amaka) reached out to me. she was like, this same person invited me. I was the one that saved Amaka.”
The livestream also featured a man identified as Ben Samuels, who is supposedly Andrew’s friend and claimed to have exposed Andrew’s crimes.
However, his credibility has been questioned by both Rachel and the public. When asked if he was the recipient of videos Andrew recorded during Rachel’s six-day captivity, Ben denied any involvement.
Rachel challenged Ben’s defense of Andrew. “Why are you now defending him that he’s not into that stuff?” she asked, referring to organ harvesting. Ben’s response, “I don’t have a clue about that one.”
Rachel revealed that when she initially reported her ordeal to the police, the men of the force demanded 200,000 naira for fuel.
