The 72nd edition of the Miss World Festival has unveiled the top 20 finalists for its Multimedia Challenge, with Africa making a strong impression through five standout representatives from Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Cameroon.

Cameroon’s Issie Princesse, Namibia’s Selma Kamanya, South Africa’s Zoalise Jansen van Rensburg, Uganda’s Natasha Nyonyozi, and Zimbabwe’s Courtney Jongwe have been named among the finalists.

These contestants have emerged as notable digital ambassadors, using their platforms to inspire and influence through storytelling and social engagement.

According to Miss World, the finalists were selected based on their creativity, consistency, and positive messaging.

Each delegate leveraged her social media presence to share deeply personal narratives, spotlight causes they are passionate about, and chronicle the highs and lows of their experiences in Telangana.

Their content, featured across various platforms including Instagram, the official Miss World app, and national Facebook pages, offered followers an inside look at everything from pre-festival preparations to their day-to-day activities in India. With only five finalists chosen per continent, the African delegates distinguished themselves through compelling and authentic storytelling.

As the competition progresses, each finalist will now take on the role of a reporter in the final phase of the challenge. They are tasked with producing a video that captures the full arc of their Miss World journey — from winning their national crowns to participating in the festival’s numerous events.

Miss World organizers have encouraged the contestants to include personal reflections, behind-the-scenes footage, and stories of the friendships they’ve built, along with highlights of how they were welcomed in Telangana. These videos will serve as a final showcase of their impact, insight, and voice as the countdown to the finale begins.
