A Nigerian South African-based Prophet, Andrew Ejimadu, has caused internet frenzy after pictures of his church members licking his shoes for miracle and blessing went viral.

The clergyman, who is the president of Christ Freedom Ministries, was photographed having an intense worship session with his members when they went on their knees and started licking his shoes.

Prophet Ejimadu is said to be renowned for making his church members do strange things for the purpose of miracle and blessing from God.

However, concerned Nigerians have criticised his methods of worship and wondered what the members stand to gain by licking somebody’s shoes.

The members were however seen performing the ritual with faith as they believe their burden will be taken off them.
