A 14-year-old Kurdish boy has reportedly died on the border between Poland and Belarus as temperatures plummeted to freezing point.
Fellow migrants reported the teenager ‘died from cold’ while footage appeared to show Belarus security operatives carrying his body away.
“He died of a cold,” said an Iraqi, who was in contact with Polish investigative media oko.press.
Another migrant confirmed “the child is dead – yes.”
The Belarussian authorities however denied the reports amid increased tensions with the west.
