Nollywood star, Mide Funmi Martins Abiodun, on Thursday paid tribute to her mother, late Funmi Martins.
The deceased was a raving Nollywood actress in the Yoruba movie industry in the mid 90s.
Born in September 1963, she died in May 2002 less than five months to her 39th birthday.
In honour of her memory, Mide wrote:

The late Martins fell ill on May 5, 2002.
While at her Iju-Ishaga residence, she suddenly complained that she was feeling dizzy and without delay, she was taken to a hospital in Iju.
After some time, her condition became stable, and the actress was even able to breastfeed her youngest child.
The next morning, however, on May 6, 2002, Martins died at the Oshuntuyi Medical Hospital in Lagos.
She was only 38 years old.
According to the medical reports, her sudden death was caused by cardiac arrest, which happened because of her rheumatic heart disease.
