The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has been awarded the 26th Gathering of Africa’s Best Platinum Award for his exceptional contributions to uplifting individuals and communities, both in Africa and globally.

The award ceremony, held at the Hilton London Kensington, recognised Olukoya’s significant role in promoting a positive image of Africa and Africans through philanthropy and transformative initiatives.

The founder of the GAB Awards, Mr. Okutubo, lauded Olukoya’s dedication to improving lives spiritually and physically, describing him as a man with a heart of gold.

He noted that Olukoya has been instrumental in reducing unemployment and fostering self-reliance by supporting vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and financial assistance programmes.

“Dr. Olukoya’s efforts in welfare programmes have provided relief to underprivileged communities, while his passion for academic excellence has opened doors for countless young individuals through scholarships,” Okutubo remarked.

The MFM leader was also celebrated for his contributions to science, being the first Nigerian to clone genes and authoring numerous scientific papers. His multifaceted impact spans welfare, education, and spirituality, earning him international acclaim.

Receiving the award on his behalf, Pastor Shade Olukoya, his wife, expressed gratitude for the recognition.

She emphasised that her husband’s life mission aligns with MFM’s core values of touching lives positively and winning souls for Christ.

“Touching lives and making positive impacts are not just his purpose for existence but also the goal of the ministry,” she stated, adding that her husband’s greatest joy is seeing others happy and fulfilled.

The GAB Platinum Award is a testament to Olukoya’s enduring legacy as a global advocate for empowerment and transformation, both within and beyond Africa.
