VIDEO: Ooni unveils new queen
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Tuesday night unveiled his new wife, Queen Mariam Ogunwusi.
This was revealed to in a video uploaded by Moses Olafare, the Director of Media and Publicity to Ooni of ife.
The new bride was spotted with the king chiefs leading her to the palace in a viral video from the King’s palace.
This will be Ooni’s fourth official marriage. He has been single since his former wife, Prophetess Silekunola Naomi left him in December 2021.
The union produced a son, Tadenikawo, who celebrated his first birthday in November 2021 before Naomi left the monarch.
The new Queen Mariam Ogunwusi, is from the Ebira ethnic group in Kogi State.
She is a top management executive- (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil owned by the billionaire Dr. Ernest Nnaemeka Azudialu Obiejesi.
She is also in her mid-30s, was single and never been married before and yet to give birth.
