Suspected gunmen, on Saturday morning, set fire to the country home of the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Professor George Obiozor, in Awo-Omamma, Oru LGA, Imo State.

Reports revealed that the arsonists who attacked Igbo leader's country home with Explosives Ordinance Disposals set fire to at least two buildings sitting on the property.

The state police have begun a manhunt for the suspects who, according to The PUNCH, were captured on CCTV camera.

However, Obiozor was not at home when the gunmen struck, according to further reports as the state police spokesperson, Micheal Abattam, confirmed that there "was no casualty. An investigation has commenced, immediately."
