PHOTOS: Tinubu in Ibadan as Ganduje, wife bag chieftaincy title
Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, and his wife, Hafsat, were on Saturday awarded chieftaincy titles in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Wuzup Nigeria gathered that the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, conferred Ganduje and his wife with the chieftaincy titles of the Aare Fiwajoye and Yeye Aare Fiwajoye of Ibadanland respectively.
All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, was present at the occasion in honour of Ganduje and his wife.
In March 2018, Ganduje consented to the marriage proposal between his daughter, Fatima Ganduje; and Idris Ajimobi, the son of then-Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.
Congratulating Ganduje on his verified Twitter handle, Tinubu wrote, “Congratulations to my brother, my ally and my friend, His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his lovely wife on their coronation as Aare Fiwajoye and Yeye Aare Fiwajoye of Ibadanland. May the peace of Almighty Allah be upon them.”
