A nursing mother identified as Mrs Rukayyat Odedoyin has been reportedly abducted during another invasion in Birshin Fulani area of Bauchi State.

The PUNCH reports that the assailants, numbering 10, invaded the suburb of the Bauchi metropolis around 12am before breaking into the victim's house and whisking the nursing mother away.

Neighbours revealed that Odedoyin's husband was recently transferred to Kaduna.

An eyewitness who did not want his name mentioned said that the abductors left the victim's three children behind.

A resident alleged that the Divisional Police Officer, Yelwa Division, did not respond to several distress calls during the attack.

However, the Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, Ahmed Wakil, denied the allegations and refused to confirm the abduction or the attack, according to the report.
