Less than 48 hours after he rained curses on 'vagabonds making life impossible for people,' unknown gunmen on Monday evening stormed Bishop David Oyedepo's branch of Living Faith Church Worldwide in Adavi Local Government Council of Kogi State where they abducted at least three members.

Eyewitnesses said that the assailants invaded the church premises when some of its members were rehearsing during the weekend,.

DAILY POST reported that the assailants stormed the area shooting sporadically to scare people in the neighbourhood before they whisked the victims away.

When contacted, Chairman of Adavi Local Government Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the development through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu.

Jamiu further said that his principal had visited the scene in company of the Divisional Police Officer of Osara Division since the incident occured.

This is just as he added that the council was working with security agents in the area to ensure that the victims are rescued unhurt.

However, Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Williams Ovye Aya, could not be reached as of the time of filing this story.

Oyedepo had on Sunday rained curses on those he called the Fulani vagabonds, making life impossible for local people.

The bishop made the curses at the first service of his church on Sunday at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland Ota, Ogun state.

“The Fulani vagabonds are making life impossible for local people and the government claims not to know”, Oyedepo said

“Many destinies have been unsettled by the unsettlement in the nation”, he added before delivering the curses.

“For the blood of many that they have wasted, their generations will pay for it.

“The error this Nation made in 2015 will never be repeated FOREVER," he said.
