An Ibadan resident has left a hilarious stain on social media after he stormed a petrol station with a car tank to buy fuel as the scarcity of the commodity bites harder.
There have been sightings of bizarre occurrences at petrol stations lately.
The crowd at filling stations has taken over supermarkets as jerikans and tanks from generators are brought along for the most sought-after commodity.
Although an individual had been reportedly spotted with plastic water tank, an overzealous Ibadan resident who seems to have upscaled the trend is seen in a video making the rounds on the internet.
The video was uploaded on Instagram by popular skit maker, Dele.
As of the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained if the video was for another skit.
However, reactions from social media users did not fall short of blames being directed at the Nigerian government.
One commentor wrote, "Hmmm, if u don't get ur voter card and vote wisely without requesting a dime from any political party this is how it is going to continue. May God Almighty have Mercy on our dear nation Nigeria."
Another added, "Russia invade Ukraine them still get 24hours light😢, anyone who thinks Nigeria is a country,, he’s on a long thing."
"Honestly, this is craziness from the part of government! Funniest thing na incompetency of Buhari double as petroleum minister again," echoed another.
