Angry youths of Yantumaki, Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, early Monday morning barricaded the Katsina/Funtua Highway to protest bandits’ attack at Amarawa.

Eyewitnesses said the youths barricaded the highway as early as 6 a.m with unused tyres and debris, a development that disrupted traffic flow on the highway for hours.

The barricade made some travellers going to Funtua, Kaduna, Abuja, Sokoto and Gusau to turn back and wait at Dutsin-ma until security operatives later cleared the highway.
