Abuja pastor’s wife, daughter's abductors demand N50m
The abductors of an Abuja pastor's wife and daughter in the Pegi community of Kuje Local Government Area, Abuja, have demanded N50 million from the family.
WuzupNigeria had reported that the preacher, Gabriel Oladapo, was away when the attack and abduction took place late Saturday.
A local residents, who simply gave his name as Eze, said the armed men scaled the fence and broke the door.
“The bandits came to pastor’s house at a resettlement area in Zone A. They were all women in the house when they came. They were heavily armed. They forced their way in and took them away,” he said.
But a family source said on Monday that the abductors have reached out to the family.
The source said they heard the cry of the victims and were pleading to ensure they pay for their release.
The source said, "Their abductors have reached out. They called on Sunday night and were demanding N50 million.
“We heard the cries of the woman and her children in the background.
“They were pleading for payment to be made as soon as possible.
“There is nowhere we can get this money from. It is far above our means.”
