A mentally ill man has been accused of raping and suffocating his 83-year-old mother with a pillow in Greece.
Victoria Papastergiou was killed close to the city of Grevena, northern Greece on Tuesday, GRTimes reports.
It was learnt that the man washed and dressed his mother’s body in a bid to disguise her true cause of death, while authorities believe he raped her while suffocating her.
He has been charged with manslaughter and rape, as ‘latest findings of sexual activity have been established.
He also reportedly confessed to the murder of his mom to police after he was arrested.
According to reports, the man is also reported to have killed his grandmother in 1993 in the same village.
