The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Prof. Ibrahim Garba says Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye graduated as Daniel Jonah Melaye with a BA in Geography from the university.
Garba said on Monday before the ethics committee that his affirmation is based on records from year 2000 available in the institution.
The Senator presented some documents to back his claim, though he has not presented his certificate as at press time.
However, contrary to the VC’s affirmation, the Exams Officers at Geography Department of the university disagreed with the VC’s claim, saying Melaye did not fulfill his course requirments.
