A Nigerian transgender living in Ghana, Veso Golden, has revealed what it takes to be a transgender.
In an interesting interview with the R&L show, Golden gave a thorough analysis of her journey as a transgender.
Golden said she is a makeup artist and a model just basically facing pageantry.
The pretty lady, once known as Messiah Oke Veso, was born to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother and into an Anglican family.
She said she was not born a male but given birth to as a young child with male genitals.
However, the doctor proclaimed or announced to her mom that she is a male child.
According to Golden, she realised that she was not fitting into her body and that traumatized her.
She said while she was a man she had a girlfriend that told her about transitioning.
When asked if she had undergone a surgery that makes her a complete female, she said no but they were drugs that she takes that makes the penis smaller and the boobs grow.
She said her mother told her to leave Nigeria because of the 14 years jail term for gays.
She also stressed that she is not a gay but the fear of going to jail made her relocate to Ghana.
