Social media medical influencer known as Asexual Doctor, real name Ebenezer Stephen Choji, has sparked outrage online after fellow influencer Dr Sina publicly accused him of allegedly running fraud schemes under the guise of helping people.

Dr Ajidahun Olusina, widely known as The Bearded Dr Sina, took to X to call out Choji, accusing him of running multiple scams and preying on unsuspecting followers.

“Asexual Doctor is a scammer, con artist, fraudster who obtains money from people under false pretenses,” Dr Sina wrote in a long thread that has now gone viral. “He has been running this scam scheme for a while on Twitter. His victims have been scared to talk but today I’ll be their mouthpiece.”

Dr Sina explained that victims began reaching out to him privately, sharing receipts and messages of transactions.

“I got this message from someone weeks back,” he wrote. “He said Asexual Doctor had collected 177k from him for some meds since May. After he stopped responding to his messages, the person had to reach out to me to intervene. Yet he was still posting on Twitter.”

He said he pressed Choji to refund the victim, adding that the influencer only started sending the money in parts after constant pressure.

“This lingered on for weeks with me pressing him to return the money,” Sina explained. “The victim kept asking for the rest. He didn’t, and out of frustration, the victim had to leave the remaining 50K for him.”

The third message reads "I really like to thank you sir, you\'ve been really helpful and with all due." with a timestamp of May 29, 2025, 7:33 PM.

Dr Sina said that shortly after, more victims came forward with similar experiences.

“I got another message again from another victim, same format. Collected 177k, stopped responding. The victim with a small number of followers told me to intervene. He kept promising and lingering for almost a week before sending the balance from money he collected in April.”

He added that he had also received reports that someone was scammed of one million naira by the influencer.

“Apparently, he was said to have scammed someone of one million naira a while ago,” Sina wrote. “Multiple people have told him to refund people’s money, but still he hasn’t. These victims aren’t talking but I’ll be their amplifier to call out this fraudster.”

Dr Sina revealed that several other people have sent him direct messages with similar claims but were afraid to make them public.

“I have gotten more DMs of people that he has scammed too but these people didn’t want to talk because they don’t want their face out there,” he said. “His mutual friends have also sent receipts. @Choji_ES why are you scamming people? Are you a doctor? If you’ve been scammed, send me DMs.”

His tweet has caused others to come forward with accusations against Asexual Doctor.
