Singer and songwriter, Akinmayokun Awodumila better known as May D says he sustained some injuries while trying to flee his burning home.
Describing the nature of the wounds, the ‘Ile Ijo’ crooner disclosed that they were burns from the fire, which he sustained on the leg while trying to avoid being trapped in the flame that engulfed his house.
He however did not expatiate on the degree of the burns.
According to WebMD, an online web portal, some burns are minor injuries one can treat at home while others could cause lasting damage to your skin, muscles, and bones and require long-term medical care.
In a post shared on his Instastories, May D pleaded with his fans to remember him in prayers.
While sharing photos of his injured leg being treated, the singer wrote:
“Hey guys, put me in your prayers, there was a fire in my house, and my leg got burnt.”
