Skitmaker and comedian Denilson Igwe, recognized for his role as Pastor in the popular web series “Mark Angel Comedy,” has publicly criticized his former boss, Mark Angel.

In a recent appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast with Nedu Wazobia, Igwe revealed his dissatisfaction with how he was compensated during his time with the series.

He shared that while the team was making around $160,000 monthly, he received only N50,000, and Emmanuella, another member, received N20,000.

Igwe explained, “Actually, I was the one who started Mac and J Comedy. I was an orphan, and Mac was the elder brother of the house. I did camera work and learned camera work from Mac, but I was not paid fairly.”

He added, “I have not received any money since then. The first time I got N50,000 was in 2016. We were making $160,000 monthly, but I only got N50,000 and Emmanuella got N20,000. It was unfair.”

Igwe also mentioned that he has no intention of returning to Mark Angel Comedy. He said, “I have no intention of going back. I was scared because he would just finish you if you had a problem with him.”

Mark Angel, known for his engaging skits started Mark Angel Comedy, in 2013 and gained popularity due to his comedy skits with Emmanuella.
