The crash occurred opposite the NASFAT junction along the busy highway. An 18-seater bus travelling from Lagos reportedly rammed into a truck coming from Ibadan, which eyewitnesses said was attempting to make a U-turn at the spot.

A video posted by the PUNCH showed the bus crushed beneath the truck, with several passengers trapped inside the wreckage. Some victims were seen lying unconscious as residents and first responders struggled to pull others out.

He said, “We are aware of the crash and our officers have been informed. However, we are still awaiting full details from the scene.”
