Manchester United sign Wayne Rooney’s son, Kai
Premier League giants, Manchester United have signed the Kai Rooney, the 11-year-old son of club legend, Wayne on Thursday.
Wayne who is the club’sUnited’s all-time record goalscorer, having scored 253 times in 559 appearances made the announcement on his verified Twitter account last night.
He posted a picture of himself, wife, Coolen and Kai (who has been handed the iconic number 10 jersey his father wore) signing his United contract.
His caption the post read: “Proud day. Kai signing for @ManUtd. Keep up the hard work son.”

Rooney who is the current interim boss at Derby after the sack of Philip Couc spent 13 years at Old Trafford, winning five Premier League titles, one Champions League, one Europa League, one FA Cup and three League Cups.
The former England captain signed for United from boyhood club Everton in 2004 and left in 2017 when returning to Goodison Park for a season before moving to DC United.
The 35-year-old joined Deby after a two-year stint in the MLS and took temporal charge of the Championship in November.
Meanwhile, Man Utd’s current assistant coach, Mike Phelan reacted to the signing of the young lad on Twitter.
He responded to Rooney’s tweet joking saying that he can’t handle another Wayne. “Not sure I can handle another. Keep grafting young un and listen to yer Dad,” he said.
