West Ham strolled to a 2-0 victory against a lacklustre Manchester United at London Stadium, who sit seventh in the Premier League table with eight points after six games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made nine changes to the side that beat Astana on Thursday sticking with the team that beat Leicester in the league last weekend but it was a terrible performance from United and they got what they deserved in the capital.

Yarmolenko gave the hosts the lead in the first half and Cresswell secured the three points with a free kick in the second and United’s afternoon went from bad to worse with Marcus Rashford forced off with an injury.

United now have eight points out of their opening six games having already lost twice and drawn twice and up next for Solskjaer’s side is a League Cup clash against Rochdale on Wednesday.
