Manchester United left-back, Luke Shaw, will be out for a month after picking up a hamstring injury at Goodison Park on Saturday. Shaw who contributed to United’s equaliser after his cross found Bruno Fernandes’ head was pulled off in the 67th minute after picking up a knock earlier in the game.
The 25-year-old who has started seven matches in 22 days for the Reds will now be out until December.
New signing, Alex Telles, who hasn’t played since United’s win against Paris Saint-Germain having been sidelined due to a positive COVID-19 test will be in line to take his place after removing from the virus.
United will be hoping that Telles who joined from FC Porto in the summer will return injury-free after joining Brazil on international duty this week.
Brandon Williams is also an option for the boss, as is Tuanzebe, who is a centre-back by trade but can play across the backline.
The fitness of Victor Lindelof and Marcus Rashford, who also picked up problems on Merseyside at the weekend, is unclear, with the pair set to join up with their national teams later this week.
