MAN UNITED! Former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, undergoes emergency brain surgery

The former manager of Manchester United FC, Sir Alex Ferguson, has undergone emergency surgery for a brain haemorrhage.

The club on Saturday after confirming this in a statement said that the former manager is recovering in hospital.

The club’s statement went on to say that the procedure had “gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimise his recovery”

The statement further noted that the family have requested “privacy in this matter.”
