A cleric has been arrested for allegedly masterminding the fake kidnap of a five years of girl.
Pastor Benjamin Ndieze of the Deliverance Home of Comfort Assembly, Ihiagwa, Imo State arranged the kidnap in order to deceive his church members.
According to Elsie Halima Ijorogu-Reed who wrote about the pastor’s misdeed on her Facebook timelime, Ndieze had on 30th January 2018 arranged with one Blessing Ahamefula from Abia State to come to his Church with her five-year-old daughter, Faith Ahamefula.
The woman handed her daughter over to the Pastor, who in turn handed the girl over to his church member, Emmanuel Onuoha, and ordered him to drop her at NNPC Filling Station, Control Post, Owerri.
Ijorogu-Reed said that during a service and prophecy session, Pastor Ndieze prophesied that there was a woman in the congregation who was looking for her daughter that was kidnapped from Aba by her Uncle one Emeka, that the baby girl had been taken to Onitsha preparatory to be taken to Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
He also revealed that by his powers and prayers, the kidnappers and ritualists will abandon the girl at NNPC, Control Post, Owerri, and that all members who wanted to witness the power of God should come along to the location to witness it.
The pastor’s ruse was, however, exposed, when members of his church – who were not aware of that the kidnap was staged – started shouting “kidnappers” and raising alarm.
The police was later invited and in the course of an investigation, discovered that the pastor was fake and had defrauded most members of the church with a fake prophesy.
She wrote,

Police authorities have arrested one Pastor Benjamin Ndieze, the officiating Pastor of Deliverance Home of Comfort Assembly, Ihiagwa in Owerri West LGA of Imo State, had arranged one Blessing Ahamefula ‘f’ of Ihie Orji Umuonyaogu Ngwa Road, Aba in Abia State to come to his Church at Ihiagwa with her little girl, Faith Ahamefula, aged five years on 30/01/2018.

At NNPC Filling Station, some members of the Church were shouting kidnappers, while others were raising alarm of cultism.
Police arrested the Pastor and in the course of investigation discovered that the Pastor was fake and has defrauded most members of the Church with fake prophesy.
