A Photo has surfaced online of a man giving free baths to almanjiris in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Almajiri is a general name given to both student and destitute but with different meaning to each. Whereas Almajiri (student) is meant generally for Qur’anic student, almajiri (destitute) is simply a beggar (whether child or adult).
Abdullahi Yusuf who shared the photos said he was moved by the good work of the “good Samaritan” that he gave him some money to by soaps just to contribute to the good work.
